Together, you as our customer and us as the product creators have established a special relationship over the last few years of Aviattic's existence.
We have tried to be open and honest in all our dealings with you and hope that we have been helpful and encouraging, answering all queries to the best of our ability and responding to feedback and requests.
Through meeting lots of you up and down the UK at model shows and our chats though email and social media, we count many of you as friends. We trust that the respect is mutual, and the level of support and belief in our mission to strive for the best in quality and accuracy has been humbling.
INTO THE FUTURE A New Way of Working
With only a small niche of the modelling market devoted to WW1 era subjects, it has been traditionally hard for companies to maintain quality and the kind of sales figures that warrant the development and production costs necessary.
Every penny in profit that Aviattic makes is ploughed back into new product development, but we have now decided on a different way of working to ensure Aviattic continues to move forward and thrive.
OUR COMMUNITY So What Is Patreon?
The Patreon concept was suggested by a customer after I gave him an insight into the day-to-day travails of a WW1 modelling company after a particularly stressful week.
Patreons are for a variety of creative enterprises, gaming companies and YouTubers. It's a new concept for sculpting, gaming and model companies, who usually turn to "Kickstarter" to help fund projects - with varying success.
With a Patreon Club, the customer-supported company achieves a reliable monthly income from its valued members.
On further investigation the Aviattic "mission" seemed a perfect fit! And so, the Aviattic Patreon Club was born in 2021.
Subscribers can upgrade, downgrade or cancel their subscriptions at any time but we obviously hope that you will stick with our Patreon community.
Rewards are secondary to the primary goal: the continuance and creation of new products and the growth of the business - but in our case we are offering permanent discounts on website purchases to those who stick with the commitment, in addition to the more usual content such as tutorials, news, pre-sale offers and exclusive offers, etc.
